Time to Sign's national team of sign language professionals provide products, workshops, and strategies for teaching ASL through the use of songs, games, and activities.

Children communicate with signs long before they speak. As most signs are mnemonic and representative (e.g. the sign for “milk” is squeezing a cow’s udder), it’s much easier for children to grasp language fundamentals with signs than with spoken words.

In many cases, sign language serves as an effective bridge for pre-verbal children that facilitates both speech and a deeper understanding of language concepts.

Time To Sign, Inc. provides products and approaches for the optimal use of American Sign Language among children, teachers, families, caregivers, and businesses as a means to support effective and meaningful communications.

The company publishes books, DVDs, cards, flipcharts, learning kits, and curricula; many of its educational products employ song, story, and hands-on activities designed to make learning interactive and enjoyable.
